Why can’t I pull up readings anymore?
I’m trying to find out – you aren’t the only one having trouble! I know it’s frustrating and I’m very sorry.
This is a terrific reading plan; I’ve enjoyed following it, though not as consistently as I’d like. But why have you omitted chapters 11-16 from Esther? Those are part of the Catholic Bible.
I don’t know if this was the case when you made the original comment in 2017, but Bible Gateway has Chapters 11-16 included throughout the four days of Esther readings as “Additions A-F”. Wikipedia has an explanation of the additions and how they’re interspersed throughout the book in the article on Esther: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Esther#Additions_to_Esther
Oh that’s great, thank you for the heads up Jake!
I had to leave it off because Bible Gateway doesn’t include it on their site in this Bible version, even though they call it the “Catholic version.” I originally linked to a Catholic website but it went offline so I re-linked all the readings to Bible Gateway. It isn’t ideal and I’m sorry to miss those chapters too! I’m glad you’re enjoying the plan!
