Read the Catholic Bible in a Year

Including the Deuterocanonicals

Read the Catholic Bible in a year! This reading plan is entirely online, it contains all of the books of the Catholic Bible, and it’s free!

To use this reading plan, simply click on a week and start when you are ready. This site uses New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition. This version is written in more common, every-day English.  However, if you prefer a different version, once you click a link to that day’s reading, you can select from many other versions from the drop-down box at the top of the page.

If you get behind, don’t worry! Just pick up where you left off. A personal hint: I set my computer’s homepage to the week I’m on so it’s easier to keep track. Find what works best for you and persevere – it will be a huge blessing to read the entire Bible whether it takes one year or five!

The LORD bless thee and keep thee;
the LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;
the LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.’
“And they shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:24-27)

Are you reading on a smart phone? You might prefer all of the readings on a single page … find it here!

    • Wooo Hoooo! I love it – set goals and celebrate when you reach them! It really does become easier after it’s truly a “habit,” doesn’t it?
